Chers usagers du Datamart du SMC,
Suite à une mise à jour majeure des systèmes de prévision, planifiée
pour juillet 2019 (détails à venir), j'aimerais vous
informer que la grille du Système régional de prévision
d'ensemble (SRPE) va être altérée avec l'apparition d'une zone
limitée d'absence de données dans le coin nord-est de la grille à
15km, dans les données GRIB disponibles à l'adresse (voir la zone
magenta dans l'image ci-jointe):
https://dd.meteo.gc.ca/ensemble/reps/15km/grib2/raw/
Conformément à la spécification GRIB2, un masque sera appliqué pour
identifier la région en question. Les décodeurs ignoreront alors ces
points de grille et la région concernée ne contiendra aucune donnée.
Afin d'aider les usagers à se familiariser avec ces nouvelles
données et leur faciliter cette transition, nous mettons à leur
disposition un échantillon de ces nouvelles données sur le site
Web d'essai de données du Datamart:
http://dd.alpha.meteo.gc.ca/ensemble/reps/15km/grib2/raw/00/024/
Un autre avis sera envoyé dès que la date précise de ces changements
sera déterminée.
Nous sommes désolés des inconvénients que cela pourrait engendrer
dans vos applications et je demeure disponible pour vous accompagner
dans cette transition.

Dear MSC Datamart users,
Following a major update to MSC forecast systems, planned for July
2019, I would like to inform you that the Regional
ensemble Prediction System (REPS) grid will be altered with
the appearance of a small no-data zone in the North-East corner
of the 15km grid, in the GRIB files available here:
https://dd.meteo.gc.ca/ensemble/reps/15km/grib2/raw/
In accordance with the GRIB2 standards, a mask will be applied
to identify them. The decoding tools will ignore these grid points
and the affected region will contain no data.
In order to help users familiarize themselves with these new
datasets and to facilitate this migration, we are making a sample
of these new data available on the MSC Datamart testing website:

Another notification message will be sent once the precise date of
these changes is known.
