Chers usagers du Datamart du SMC,
Ceci fait suite à l'annonce envoyée le 26 septembre dernier
concernant des problèmes de performance d'accès aux données du
Datamart:

Nous tenons à vous informer que des changements ont été apportés
pour améliorer la bande passante jeudi 18 octobre. Ceci devrait
faciliter l'accès aux données et réduire les problèmes de lenteur
rapportés par certains usagers.
En parallèle, nous travaillons sur une solution à plus long terme,
nécessitant une changement d'infrastructure qui devrait augmenter de
façon significative la capacité de bande passante actuelle,
permettant ainsi de répondre à la demande d'accès aux données, sans
cesse en expansion.
Nouss vous tiendrons informés de ces développements et je demeure
disponible pour toute question ou commentaires concernant ces enjeux
de performance.

Dear MSC Datamart users,
This follows the announcement sent on September 26th regarding
Datamart data access performance issues:

We would like to inform you that work has been made to improve
bandwidth on Thursday, October 18th. This should facilitate data
access and reduce the problems of slowness reported by some users.
In parallel, we are working on a longer-term solution, requiring a
change of infrastructure that should significantly increase the
current bandwidth capacity, thus meeting the ever-increasing demand
for data access.
We will keep you informed of these developments and I remain
available for any questions or comments regarding these performance
issues.
