Chers usagers du Datamart du SMC,
Ceci fait suite à l'annonce envoyée le 10 septembre dernier
concernant les impacts associés à la mise à jour de tous les
systèmes de prévision du Centre météorologique canadien (CMC):

Veuillez noter que contrairement à ce qui avait été annoncé pour le
Système régional de prévision déterministe (SRPD), les
paramètres de temps violent d'été, l'indice Showalter,
SHOWA_SFC_0 et l'indice de soulèvement, 4LFTX_SFC_0, demeureront
sur la grille actuelle (858 x 665), ils seront offerts
sur la grille élargie (935x824) dans les prochaines semaines (date
exacte à venir).
Aussi, en plus des changements mentionnés dans la précédente
annonce, les profils verticaux ProgTephi en format CSV ,
produits à partir des données du SRPD, seront mis à jour. Plus
spécifiquement, l'humidité relative, HR , sera disponible sur
davantage de niveaux, soit 32 niveaux au lieu de 18 niveaux
actuellement:
Niveaux actuels pour HR : 1000, 925, 900, 850, 800, 750, 700, 650,
600, 500, 400, 300, 250, 200, 150, 100, 50, 10 mb
Niveaux futurs pour HR : 1015, 1000, 985, 970, 950, 925, 900, 875,
850, 800, 750, 700, 650, 600, 550, 500, 450, 400, 350, 300, 275,
250, 225, 200, 175, 150, 100, 70, 50, 30, 20, 10 mb

Finalement, veuillez noter que ces changements, ainsi que ceux
mentionnés lors de la précédente annonce (voir ci-dessus) seront effectifs
à partir de la passe 12Z le mardi 18 septembre 2018.

Dear MSC Datamart users,
This is an update to the announcement sent on September 10 regarding
the impacts associated with the update to the Canadian
Meteorological Centre (CMC) forecast systems:

Please note that unlike what has been announced for the Regional
Deterministic Prediction System (RDPS), the summer
severe weather parameters, Showalter Index, SHOWA_SFC_0 and
Uplift Index, 4LFTX_SFC_0, will remain on the current grid (858 x
665), they will be available on the expanded grid (935x824) in
the coming weeks (exact date to come).
Also, in addition to the changes mentioned in the previous
announcement, the ProgTephi vertical profiles in CSV format,
produced from the RDPS data, will be updated. Specifically, the
number of levels on which relative humidity (HR) is available, will
be increased from 18 to 32 levels.

600, 500, 400, 300, 250, 200, 150, 100, 50, 10 mb

Finally, please note that these changes, as well as those mentioned
in the previous announcement (see above) will be effective from 12Z
on Tuesday, September 18, 2018.
