Chers usagers du Datamart du SMC,

Dans le but d'améliorer continuellement nos services en matière de prévisions météorologiques et environnementales, Environnement et changement climatique Canada, en collaboration avec Services Partagés Canada, migrera vers une nouvelle infrastructure de super-informatique le mardi 21 janvier 2020, à partir des passes de modèles de 12 UTC.

En terme de capacité de calcul haute performance, cette nouvelle solution entrainera une amélioration des performances par un facteur 2.5 par rapport à la solution précédente.

Bien que nous n’anticipions pas de problème technique majeur, nous invitons nos usagers à nous signaler tout enjeu potentiel suite à cette migration, via l'adresse ec.dps-client.ec@canada.ca. Un grand merci pour votre habituelle collaboration bien appréciée.

Dear MSC Datamart users,

In order to provide continually improved weather and environmental prediction services, Environment and Climate Change Canada, in collaboration with Shared Services Canada, will be switching to a new high-performance computing infrastructure as of Tuesday, January 21st 2020, beginning with the 12 UTC model runs.

In terms of computing capacity, this new solution will provide a 2.5x increase in performance over the previous solution.
