Chers usagers du Datamart du SMC,

L'Année de prévision polaire (YOPP), une initiative phare de la contribution de Environnement et changement climatique Canada au Projet de prévision polaire (PPP) international (*), est maintenant terminée.

En conséquence, le Système canadien de prévision de l'Arctique (SCPA) et le Système régional de prévision océan-glace (SRPOG) qui avaient été installés en mode expérimental sur DD-Alpha, le serveur d'essai du Datamart du SMC en janvier 2018, vont être suspendus dès le 30 novembre 2021. Nous espérons que les usagers intéressés aux régions polaires arctiques ont pu tirer profit de ces jeux de données :

Je vous rappelle que le SRPOG est disponible de façon opérationnelle (mais non couplé avec le SCPA) sur le Datamart du SMC (**) à cette adresse :

Veuillez noter que les archives des données du SCPA (***) et du SRPOG (****) vont demeurer disponibles sur DD-Alpha jusqu’à l’été 2022 (date à confirmer).

Dear MSC Datamart users,

The Year of Polar Prediction (YOPP), a flagship initiative of Environment and Climate Change Canada's contribution to the international Polar Prediction Project (*), is now over.

As a result, the Canadian Arctic Prediction System (CAPS) and the Regional Ice Ocean Prediction System (RIOPS), which were installed in January 2018 in experimental mode on DD-Alpha, the MSC Datamart testing data repository, will be suspended as of November, 30^th 2021. We hope that users interested in the Arctic polar regions were able to take advantage of these datasets :

I remind you that RIOPS is operationally available (but not coupled with CAPS) on the MSC Datamart (**) at this address:

Please note that CAPS (***) and RIOPS (****) data archives will remain available on DD-Alpha until summer 2022. A new announcement will be sent for any updates.
