Chers usagers du Datamart du SMC,
Il me fait plaisir de vous annoncer l'ajout de nouveaux
paramètres GRIB sur le Datamart du SMC.
Ces changements concernent le Système global de prévision
déterministe à 25km (SGPD), le Système régional de prévision
déterministe (SRPD) ainsi que le Système à haute résolution de
prévision déterministe (SHRPD, tous les domaines), respectivement
disponibles aux adresses:
Ces paramètres sont la température du sol, SKINT_SFC_0, et le
type de précipitation instantané, PTYPE_SFC_0. Aussi, deux
nouveaux indices de stabilité sont disponibles dans le SGPD et
le SRPD, soit l'indice K, KX_SFC_0 et l'indice Total-Total,
TOTALX_SFC_0. Veuillez vous référer au document en attaché
pour tous les détails.
Finalement, l'épaisseur de neige, SNOD_SFC_0, est maintenant
disponible pour toutes les échéances dans les données du domaine
nord du SHRPD ainsi que dans les données du SCPA (Système
canadien de prévision de l'Arctique) disponibles sur le serveur
web d'essai DD-Alpha dans le cadre du projet YOPP (*)
Notez que la documentation sur le site https://meteo.gc.ca/grib/index_f.html
sera mis à jour en conséquence ultérieurement.

Dear MSC Datamart Users,
I am pleased to announce the addition of new GRIB parameters
to the MSC Datamart.
These changes concern the 25km Global Deterministic Prediction
System (GDPS), the Regional Deterministic Prediction System (RDPS)
and the High Resolution Deterministic Prediction System (HRDPS,
all domains), respectively available at the addresses:
These parameters are the skin temperature, SKINT_SFC_0, and
the instantaneous precipitation type, PTYPE_SFC_0. In addition,
two new stability indices are now available in the RDPS and
GDPS, namely, the K-Index , KX_SFC_0 and the Total totals index,
TOTALX_SFC_0. Please refer to the attached document for
detailed information.
Finally, the snow depth , SNOD_SFC_0, is now available for all
forecast hours in the HRDPS North domain data as well as in
the CAPS data (Canadian Arctic Prediction System) available on the
MSC web test data repository, DD-Alpha, in the context of the YOPP
project (**).

will be updated accordingly later.
