Chers usagers du Système global de production déterministe basse
résolution,
À partir du mois de décembre 2013, le SMC cessera la production des
données GRIB du Système global de production déterministe (SGPD) à
220 km (basse résolution). Cet arrêt de la production est motivé
par la faible popularité de ces données, combiné à un effort
d'optimisation de l'usage de nos ressources.
Ces données se trouvent dans ce répertoire:
http://dd.meteo.gc.ca/model_gem_global/low_resolution/
Dès le mois d'octobre, un nom d'usager et un mot de passe sera
requis pour accéder aux fichiers dans ce répertoire. Cette mesure
est nécessaire afin d'aviser les usagers qui ne sont pas inscrit à
cette liste de diffusion que les données seront bientôt retirées.
Vous pouvez nous contacter pour obtenir le nom d'usager et le mot de
passe dès maintenant.
Les usagers de ces données sont invités à migrer aux données GRIB du
SGPD à 25 km ou à 66 km de résolution. Vous trouverez la
documentation de ces données, respectivement, sur ces pages:

Dear Global Deterministic Prediction System low resolution users,
On December 2013, the MSC will cease production of the GRIB data for
the Global Deterministic Prediction System (RDPS) at 220 km (low
resolution). This decommissioning is motivated by the low popularity
of this data, combined with an effort to optimize our resources.

Starting in October, a user name and a password will be needed to
access the files in this directory. This measure is necessary in
order to advise users who are not subscribed to this mailing list
that data will be soon decommissioned. You may contact us now to
obtain the user name and password.
Users of this data are invited to migrate to GDPS 25 km or 66 km
resolution GRIB data. You will find the documentation of these data
sets, respectively, by following the links below:
