Chers usagers du Datamart du SMC,

A partir du 1er mai 2017, les prévisions du Système régional de prévision déterministe de vague (SRPDV), sur le domaine arctique, seront disponibles jusqu'à 120h à 00Z et 12Z, à cette adresse:
http://dd.meteo.gc.ca/model_wave/ocean/arctic/grib2/

Ces prévisions de vague seront forcées par les vents à 10m du Système global de prévision déterministe (SGPD).

Les prévisions, forcées par le Système régional de prévision déterministe (SRPD) demeureront disponibles jusqu'48h à 00Z et 12Z et 54 heures à 06Z et 18Z.

En conséquence, la nomenclature des fichiers pour ce domaine sera modifiée en ajoutant respectivement les chaines de caractères "arctic-gdps" et "arctic-rdps" dans les noms des fichiers. Une coquille sera aussi corrigée quant à la chaine de caractères désignant la projection du domaine dont la résolution est de 0,4 degré par 0,8 degré (et non 0,04 degré par 0,08 degré).

Ainsi les fichiers suivants pourront par exemple être trouvés à l'adresse http://dd.meteo.gc.ca/model_wave/ocean/arctic/grib2/12/ :

Un autre avis sera envoyé si la date de cette mise en œuvre sur le Datamart du SMC venait à changer.

Dear MSC Datamart users,

Starting from May 1st, 2017 the Regional Deterministic Wave Prediction System (RDWPS) forecasts over the Arctic domain will be available up to 120h at 00Z and 12Z at the address:
http://dd.meteo.gc.ca/model_wave/ocean/arctic/grib2/

These wave forecasts will be forced by the 10 meters winds from the Global Deterministic Prediction System (GDPS).

The forecasts forced by the Regional Deterministic Prediction System (RDPS) will still be available up to 48 hours at 00Z and 12Z and 54 hours at 06Z and 18Z.

Accordingly, files nomenclature for this domain will be updated by adding the strings "arctic-gdps" and "arctic-rdps" in the filenames. A typo will also be fixed in the string indicating the projection used, namely 0.4 degree x 0.8 degree (instead of 0.04 degree x 0.08 degree).

The documentation will be updated accordingly at the address:

Another notification message will be sent if the implementation date on the MSC Datamart changes.
