Chers usagers du Datamart du SMC,

Les changements mis en œuvre dans les champs de convection du Système à haute résolution de prévision déterministe (SHRPD) , soit l'indice de Showalter et l'indice de soulèvement, le 3 avril dernier (*), n'ont pas été appliqués au domaine nord du SHRPD ainsi qu'au Système canadien de prévision de l'Arctique (SCPA) dont les données sont disponibles sur DD-Alpha (**) dans le cadre du projet YOPP (Year of Polar Prediction). Les fichiers correspondants sont donc actuellement vides.

Ceci sera corrigé le 3 juillet prochain lors de la mise à jour majeure des systèmes de prévision, annoncée plus tôt.

Ces champs de convection ci-dessus seront alors disponibles sous leur nouvelle nomenclature et encodage (*) pour le domaine nord du SHRPD et pour le système SCPA, aux adresses respectives:

• http://dd.alpha.meteo.gc.ca/yopp/model_caps/grib2/polar_stereographic/

Une annonce sera envoyée si la date d'implantation est retardée.

Dear MSC Datamart users,

The changes implemented in the convection fields of the High Resolution Deterministic Prediction System (HRDPS), i.e. the Showalter index and the Lifting index, on April 3, 2019 (*), have not been applied to the northern domain of the HRDPS and to the Canadian Arctic Prediction System (CAPS), whose data are available on DD-Alpha (**) as part of the YOPP (Year of Polar Prediction) project. The corresponding files are currently empty.

This will be corrected on July 3, 2019 during the major update to MSC forecast systems, announced earlier.

These convection fields above will then be available under their new nomenclature and encoding (*) for the northern domain of HRDPS and for the CAPS, at the respective addresses:

An announcement will be sent if the implementation date is delayed.
