Chers usagers du Datamart du SMC,
Dans le cadre du projet de remplacement des radars du SMC (*), les produits de contingence des radars de bande S sont disponibles pour chacun des nouveaux radars équipés de la technologie
de double polarisation.
Par conséquent, dans le but d’éviter toute duplication d’images, les produits de contingence des radars de bande C, pour tous les radars ayant été renouvelés, seront retirés du Datamart du SMC le 28 septembre 2022.
Par exemple, le fichier type suivant pour le radar de Franktown :
https://dd.meteo.gc.ca/radar/PRECIPET/GIF/XFT/YYYYMMDDHHhh_XFT_COMP_PRECIPET_RAIN.gif
ne sera plus disponible puisque remplacé depuis août 2021 par le fichier type:
https://dd.meteo.gc.ca/radar/PRECIPET/GIF/CASFT/YYYYMMDDHHhh_CASFT_COMP_PRECIPET_RAIN.gif

Dear MSC Datamart users,
As part of the MSC Radar Renewal Project (*), S-band radar contingency products are available for each of the new radars equipped with dual polarization technology.
Therefore, in order to avoid duplication of imagery, the C-band radar contingency products for all renewed radars will be removed from the MSC Datamart on September 28, 2022.
For example, the following sample file for the Franktown radar:

will no longer be available since it has been replaced since August 2021 by the type file
