Chers usagers du Datamart du SMC,

Veuillez noter les changements ci-dessous apportés aux données GRIB du Datamart du SMC, valides dès le mercredi 30 janvier 2019 à 18Z.

1) Système à haute résolution de prévision déterministe (SHRPD, tous les domaines)

https://dd.meteo.gc.ca/model_hrdps/

• Ajout du paramètre SDWE (équivalent en eau de la neige dans la couche de neige, kg.m-2), à toutes les échéances
• Correction du paramètre SOILW_DBLL_100 (humidité du sol, 10cm sous la surface du sol, m3.m-3) : les valeurs de fond négatives étaient irréalistes et sont maintenant égales à 0.001.
• Correction des paramètres ICEC_SFC_0 (fraction de glace) et SOILVIC_SFC_0 (contenu volumétrique du sol en glace, m3.m-3) : les valeurs de fond négatives étaient irréalistes et sont maintenant égales à 0.
  

2) Système régional de prévision déterministe (SRPD)

https://dd.meteo.gc.ca/model_gem_regional/10km/grib2/

• Changement de grille des paramètres SHOWA_SFC_0 (Indice Showalter, Kelvin) et 4LFTX_SFC_0 (indice de soulèvement, Kelvin) : ces champs passent de la grille (858x665) à la grille (935x824) , pour être conformes aux autres paramètres.
  

Notez que la documentation sur le site https://meteo.gc.ca/grib/index_f.html sera mis à jour en conséquence ultérieurement.

Dear MSC Datamart users,

Please note the following changes to the MSC Datamart GRIB data, valid from Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 18Z.

1) High Resolution Deterministic Prediction System (HRDPS, all domains)

https://dd.meteo.gc.ca/model_hrdps/

• Addition of the parameter SDWE (snow depth water equivalent, kg.m-2), all forecast hours
• Correction of parameter SOILW_DBLL_100 (soil moisture, 10cm below the surface, m3.m-3): negative background values were unrealistic and are now equal to 0.001.
• Correction of parameters ICEC_SFC_0 (ice fraction) and SOILVIC_SFC_0 (soil volumetric ice content, m3.m-3) : negative background values were unrealistic and are now equal to 0.
  

2) Regional Deterministic Prediction System (RDPS)

https://dd.meteo.gc.ca/model_gem_regional/10km/grib2/

• Update of the parameters SHOWA_SFC_0 (Showalter Index, Kelvin) and 4LFTX_SFC_0 (Lifting Index, Kelvin): these fields change from the grid (858x665) to the grid (935x824), to comply with the other parameters.
  

Note that the documentation on https://weather.gc.ca/grib/index_e.html will be updated accordingly later.
