Chers usagers du Datamart du SMC,

Un nouveau produit dérivé des instruments satellitaires géostationnaires GOES-Ouest et GOES-Est , exploités par la NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration), a été ajouté parmi les données du Datamart du SMC.

Il s’agit du produit GeoColor, qui permet d'identifier la fumée, la poussière en suspension, la brume et tout élément présentant une couleur caractéristique. C’est un produit multispectral composé d'une image en couleurs réelles pendant la journée et d'une image infrarouge utilisant les bandes 7 et 13 pendant la nuit.

Ces données à 1km de résolution, sont disponibles au format GeoTIFF, toutes les 10 minutes, à l’adresse suivante :

Dear MSC Datamart users,

A new product derived from the geostationary satellite instruments GOES-West and GOES-East, operated by NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) has been added to the MSC Datamart.

This is the GeoColor product which can be used to identify smoke, blowing dust, haze, and anything that has a unique color property. It is a multispectral product composed of true color during daytime, and an infrared product that uses bands 7 and 13 at night

Data updated every 10 minutes, with a resolution of 1 km, is available in GeoTIFF format, at the following address:
