Chers usagers des images radars,
Depuis le mois de juin 2015, un produit PRECIP-ET de contingence est
disponible sur le Datamart pour chaque radar météorologique du
réseau d'Environnement Canada. Composées à partir des radars voisins
couvrant le même domaine, ces images seront disponibles même lorsque
le radar concerné sera en panne.
Pour distinguer les images composites des images produites par le
radar, la chaîne de caractères "COMP" a été insérée dans le nom de
fichier après le code de trois lettres du radar.
Par exemple pour une image PRECIP-ET de WBI:
http://dd.meteo.gc.ca/radar/PRECIPET/GIF/WBI/201507021640_WBI_PRECIPET_RAIN.gif
Alors que l'image composite correspondante sera localisée ici:
http://dd.meteo.gc.ca/radar/PRECIPET/GIF/WBI/201507021640_WBI_COMP_PRECIPET_RAIN.gif
Le fichier
README correspondant sur le Datamart sera mis à jour sur le
site dans les prochains mois pour refléter ce changement. Ce
changement est également documenté dans le guide d'usager des images
radars de notre site web:

Dear radar image users,
Beginning in June 2015, a contingency PRECIP-ET product has been
available on the Datamart for each meteorological radar of the
Environment Canada network. Composed of neighboring radars covering
the same domain, these images will be available even when the radar
concerned is down.
To distinguish the composite images from the images produced by the
radar, the string "COMP" is inserted into the file name after the
three letter code of the radar.
For example, for a PRECIP-ET image from WBI:
http://dd.weather.gc.ca/radar/PRECIPET/GIF/WBI/201507021640_WBI_PRECIPET_RAIN.gif
The corresponding composite image will be located here:
http://dd.weather.gc.ca/radar/PRECIPET/GIF/WBI/201507021640_WBI_COMP_PRECIPET_RAIN.gif

coming months to reflect this change. This change is also documented
