Chers usagers du Datamart du SMC,

Le 30 novembre 2021, une mise à jour du Système régional de prévision déterministe de la qualité de l’air FireWork, SRPDQA-FW (*) et du Système régional de prévision déterministe de la qualité de l’air, SRDPQA (**) sera mise en œuvre au sein d’un nouveau cycle d’innovation de nos systèmes opérationnels (plus de détails prochainement).

Dans le cadre de cette mise à jour, une correction sera apportée aux unités des paramètres de particules fines PM2.5 et PM10 du SRPDQA-FW sur l’intégrale de la colonne qui seront exprimés en kg-m-2 plutôt qu’en kg-1. Veuillez noter que ces changements ne concernent pas le SRDPQA.

Aussi, dans le cadre de la standardisation de la nomenclature des fichiers, les changements suivants seront apportés aux noms de fichiers de ces deux systèmes:

· EATM deviendra EAtm

· SFC deviendra Sfc

· Phhh deviendra PThhhH

· RLatLon0.09x0.09 deviendra RLatLon0.09

Exemples :

· SRPDQA-FW : 20211014T12Z_MSC_RAQDPS-FW_PM10-Diff-RAQDPS_EAtm_RLatLon0.09_PT024H.grib2

· SRPDQA : 20211014T12Z_MSC_RAQDPS_SO2_Sfc_RLatLon0.09_PT061H.grib2

Veuillez noter que ces nouveaux fichiers sont désormais disponibles sur le Datamart du SMC afin de faciliter la migration des usagers vers ces nouveaux jeux de données qui vont donc cohabiter pendant les 2 prochaines semaines dans les répertoires ci-dessous :

· https://dd.meteo.gc.ca/model_raqdps/10km/grib2/

· https://dd.meteo.gc.ca/model_raqdps-fw/10km/grib2/

Dear MSC Datamart users,

On November 30^th, 2021, an update to the FireWork Regional Air Quality Deterministic Prediction System, RAQDPS-FW (*) and the Regional Air Quality Deterministic Prediction System, RAQDPS (**) will be implemented within a new innovation cycle of our operational systems (more details coming soon).

As part of this update, a correction will be made to the units of the full column PM2.5 and PM10 fine particulate matter parameters in the RAQDPS-FW such that they are expressed in kg-m-2 rather than kg-1. Note, this particular change does not affect the RAQDPS.

Also, as part of the standardization of file nomenclature, the following changes will be made to file names of both systems :

· EATM will become EAtm

· SFC will become Sfc

· Phhh will become PThhhH

· RLatLon0.09x0.09 will become RLatLon0.09

Examples:

· RAQDPS-FW: 20211014T12Z_MSC_RAQDPS-FW_PM10-Diff-RAQDPS_EAtm_RLatLon0.09_PT024H.grib2

Please note that these new files are now available on the MSC Datamart in order to facilitate the migration of users to these new datasets which will therefore cohabit for the next 2 weeks in the directories below:
