Chers usagers du Datamart du SMC,

J’aimerais vous rappeler que les données polaires stéréographiques à 2.5km de résolution du Système à haute résolution de prévision déterministe (SHRPD) seront retirées du Datamart du SMC ce mercredi 22 février 2023, tel annoncé dès janvier 2021 et à quelques reprises ensuite (*)

Ceci signifie par le fait même, le retrait des données des domaines est, ouest ainsi que les domaines des Maritimes et des Prairies disponibles actuellement ici :

https://dd.meteo.gc.ca/model_hrdps/

Veuillez noter que le domaine nord expérimental n’est pas touché par ce retrait.

Les données polaires stéréographiques sur le domaine continental, disponibles ci-dessous, seront aussi retirées de l’offre de service:

https://dd.meteo.gc.ca/model_hrdps/continental/grib2/

Je vous rappelle que les données du SHRPD sur la grille lat-lon tournée du domaine continental (y compris les nouveaux éléments du temps sur grille) se trouvent à cette adresse:

https://dd.meteo.gc.ca/model_hrdps/continental/2.5km/[00,06,12,18]

Finalement, je tiens à rappeler que les usagers des sous domaines cités plus hauts sont invités à utiliser notre API GeoMet du SMC pour télécharger uniquement les régions d’intérêt pour leurs applications plutôt que le domaine au complet. Voir la documentation ci-dessous pour ces services géospatiaux :

Dear MSC Datamart users,

I would like to remind you that the 2.5km resolution stereographic polar data from the High Resolution Deterministic Prediction System (HRDPS) will be removed from the MSC Datamart on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, as announced in January 2021 and a few times thereafter (*)

This means the removal of the Eastern, Western, Maritime and Prairies domains data currently available here:

https://dd.weather.gc.ca/model_hrdps/

Please note that the experimental North domain is not affected by this removal.

Stereographic polar data over the continental domain, available below, will also be removed from the service:

https://dd.weather.gc.ca/model_hrdps/continental/grib2/

I remind you that the HRDPS data on the rotated lat-lon grid of the continental domain (including the new weather elements on the grid) can be found at this address:

https://dd.weather.gc.ca/model_hrdps/continental/2.5km/[00,06,12,18]

Finally, I would like to remind users of the above sub-domains that they are welcome to use our MSC GeoMet API to download only the regions of interest for their applications rather than the entire domain. See the documentation below for these geospatial services:
