Chers usagers du Datamart du SMC,

Environnement et Changement climatique Canada rend maintenant disponibles depuis le 25 février 2021, passe de 00Z, les données expérimentales de son Système global de prévision d'ensemble de vague (SGPEV) qui produit, 2 fois par jour et jusqu'à 384h, des prévisions probabilistes de vagues basées sur un ensemble de 20 membres et un membre contrôle forcés par les vents à une élévation de 10 mètres du Système global de prévision d'ensemble, SGPE (*).

Ces données sont disponibles en format GRIB2 sur DD-Alpha, le site web d'essai du Datamart du SMC, à cette adresse:

Aussi, on retrouve la nouvelle nomenclature standardisée des noms de fichiers incluant un changement dans le format de date pour se rapprocher du standard ISO8601 (**).

Dear MSC Datamart Users,

I'm pleased to inform you that Environment and Climate Change Canada's experimental Global Ensemble Wave Prediction System (GEWPS) is now available since February 25th 2021, starting from the 00Z run. The system produces, twice daily and up to 384h, probabilistic predictions of wave elements based on 20 ensemble members and a control member that are forced by the 10 meters winds from the Global Ensemble Prediction System, GEPS (*).

The experimental data in GRIB2 format are available on DD-Alpha, the data testing website of the MSC Datamart, at the address:

Also, the filenames follow the new standardized file nomenclature including a change in the date format to get closer to the ISO8601 (**) standard.
