Chers usagers du Datamart du SMC,
J’aimerais vous informer que la
mise à jour des produits CAP-XML annoncée en avril
dernier sera mise en œuvre le
6 octobre 2025. Pour rappel, cette mise à jour comprend une amélioration de la présentation des alertes dans une structure de niveaux de risque par code de couleur (alertes météorologiques codées par couleur).

Cette mise à jour aura un impact sur les données
citypage_weather,
puisque l'attribut « priority » sera supprimé et un nouvel attribut «
alertColourLevel » sera ajouté pour correspondre au niveau d'alerte.

Veuillez noter que toutes les communications médiatiques concernant le nouveau système d'alerte météorologique restent soumises à embargo.
Par ailleurs, suite à la modification de la structure du répertoire du
Datamart du SMC,
qui sera mise en œuvre le 23 septembre prochain, le schéma XSL
des données « citypage_weather » sera mis à jour en conséquence. Ainsi, dans les fichiers XML, l'URL «
https://dd.meteo.gc.ca/citypage_weather/schema/site.xsd
» sera remplacée par : «
https://dd.meteo.gc.ca/today/citypage_weather/schema/site.xsd ».
Nous vous prions de bien vouloir nous excuser pour les impacts occasionnés par ces mises à jour. Je reste à votre disposition pour toute question.

Dear MSC Datamart users,
I would like to inform you that the
CAP-XML update
announced last April will be implemented on October 6, 2025. As a reminder, this update includes an improvement of the presentation of alerts in a color-coded risk level structure (Color-coded weather alerts).

This update will impact citypage_weather data as
the “priority” attribute will be removed and a new alert attribute, “alertColourLevel”, will be added to match the alert level.

Please note that all media communication regarding the new weather alert system continues to be under embargo.
In addition, and following the
change in the directory structure of the
MSC Datamart, that will be implemented on September 23th, the citypage_weather XSL schema will be updated accordingly. Hence, in the XML files , the URL “https://dd.weather.gc.ca/citypage_weather/schema/site.xsd”
will be replaced by: “https://dd.weather.gc.ca/today/citypage_weather/schema/site.xsd” .
