Chers usagers du Datamart du SMC,
Comme vous le savez, une
nouvelle version du Système global de prévision déterministe (SGPD) piloté spectralement par un modèle basé sur l’intelligence artificielle sera mise en œuvre opérationnellement le
mardi 20 mai 2026, passe de 12UTC.
Les éléments du temps sur grille basés sur ce nouveau système vont demeurer expérimentaux
et disponibles sur DD-Alpha, le site web d’essai du Datamart du SMC, mais nous allons profiter de cette occasion pour apporter cette même journée, un
changement à la nomenclature de ces données afin de se rendre conformes aux normes de standardisation des fichiers du Datamart du SMC.
Un échantillon est d’ores et déjà disponible à l’adresse ci-dessous afin de permettre à nos usagers de tester et adapter leurs applications :

Par ailleurs,
les données seront déménagées sur DD-Alpha, à cette adresse, similaire à l’adresse des données du SGPD sur le Datamart du SMC :
https://dd.alpha.meteo.gc.ca/model_gdps
La documentation sera mise à jour en conséquence.
Nous sommes désolés des désagréments que ce changement pourrait entrainer dans vos applications, mais nous tenons à procéder ainsi pour respecter nos normes qui ont pour
but de faciliter la gestion de nos données. Veuillez noter que ceci n’aura aucun impact sur l’accès à ces données via nos services web géospatiaux
GeoMet du SMC.

Dear MSC Datamart users,
As you are probably already aware, a
new version of the Global Deterministic Prediction System (GDPS), spectrally driven by an artificial intelligence-based model, will be put into operational use on
Tuesday, May 20, 2026, at 12:00 UTC.
The weather elements on the grid (WEonG) based on this new system will remain experimental and available
on DD-Alpha, the MSC Datamart testing website, but we will take this opportunity to
update the nomenclature of these data, on the same day, to comply with the standardization norms for MSC Datamart files.
A sample is already available at the address below to allow our users to test and adapt their applications:

Additionally, the data will be moved
on DD-Alpha to the following address, which matches the address of the GDPS data on the MSC Datamart:

The documentation will be updated accordingly.
