Dear MSC GeoMet users,

We inform you that on April 18th 2023, the Regional Deterministic Wave Prediction System Atlantic-North-West (RDWPS-ANW) layers will be decommissioned and will not be available anymore from the GeoMet-Weather web services. Please ensure your applications are updated accordingly.

• The RDWPS layers on the national domain are replacing the RDWPS-ANW layers
• The RDWPS over the Great Lakes layers will continue to be available

Amongst the advantages of using the RDWPS layers on the national domain:

• Increased spatial resolution: 2.5 km
• Increased domain coverage: the RDWPS layers on the national domain also cover a part of the Pacific Ocean

Nous vous informons qu'à partir du 18 avril 2023, les couches du Système régional de prévision déterministe de vague Nord-Ouest Atlantique (SRPDV-NOA) seront mises hors service et ne seront plus disponibles sur les services web de GeoMet-Météo. Veuillez vous assurer que vos applications soient mises à jour en conséquence.

• Les couches du SRPDV sur le domaine national remplacent les couches SRPDV-NOA
• Les couches du SRPDV sur les Grands Lacs continueront à être disponibles

Parmi les avantages de l'utilisation des couches du SRPDV sur le domaine national :

• Résolution spatiale accrue : 2,5 km
• Couverture accrue du domaine : les couches du SRPDV sur le domaine national couvrent également une partie de l'Océan Pacifique
