We will continue to improve MSC GeoMet-Beta over the coming weeks and *we target April 2018 for MSC GeoMet 2 to replace the current operational version*. *Please refer to the Migration Guide* (http://lists.ec.gc.ca/pipermail/geomet-info/2017-March/000039.html ) which highlights breaking changes and to get ready for GeoMet 2.0.0. Significant MSC GeoMet-Beta changes since version 2.0.0-rc7 released in December 2017: * Layers of the Canadian Arctic Prediction System (CAPS) model are now available * Layers of the Regional Ice-Ocean Prediction System (RIOPS) model are now available * Layers of the RADAR 1km North-American mosaic are now available * The RADAR 4km North-America mosaic styles have been updated to match the ones on https://weather.gc.ca/radar/index_e.html * New pressure levels layers are now available for: o Global Deterministic Prediction System (GDPS) o Regional Deterministic Prediction System (RDPS) o High Resolution Deterministic Prediction System (HRDPS) * Wind arrow layers for RDPS and HRDPS NWP models are available in WMS * Layers from the Global Ice Ocean Prediction System (GIOPS) model will now display properly in WMS * GIOPS layers WMS styles have been updated and new WMS styles are available * Additional minor fixes and improvements Known issues: * Some layers currently available on MSC GeoMet are not available on MSC GeoMet-Beta.
