We're writing to follow up on our previous email regarding the Evaluation Working
Group (WG3) meeting for the North American Vegetation Fire and Smoke Pollution Warning and
Advisory System (NA VFSP-WAS).
So far, we've received only one response, and we wanted to kindly remind you to share
your availability if you would like to remain involved in WG3 and participate in the
January meeting (see e-mail below).
Please note that one of the proposed dates in the poll, January 7, can now be ignored as
it is no longer feasible. All other proposed dates remain valid.

Hi everyone,
We hope you're doing well. As co-leads of the Evaluation Working Group (WG3) of the
North American Vegetation Fire and Smoke Pollution Warning and Advisory System (NA
VFSP-WAS), we are reaching out to confirm the current membership list provided by the
project leaders and to invite you to a group meeting in January 2026.
The topics planned for the upcoming meeting, aligned with our group's objectives,
include:
* Suggested verification metrics
* Plots and statistics for discussion
* Selection of observational datasets for incorporation
* Model variables to be evaluated
* Limitations and uncertainties to consider
* Evaluation of the AI model
