Marine weather statement for the Maritimes issued by Environment
Canada at 3:03 A.M. ADT Monday August 4th 2025.
At midnight tropical storm dexter was located at 34.3 north 69.4 west
or about 420 nautical miles northwest of Bermuda. Dexter is moving
toward the east - northeast near 10 knots. The central prssure was
1002 MB. Maximun winds are forecast at 40 knots.
Dexter is forecast to pass south of Nova Scotia on Tuesday and on
Thursday it will be south of the Grand Banks of Newfoundland.
Winds will gradually decrease to gale force south of Newfoundland
late this week.
