Change of Citypage XML weather forecast / Changement aux fichiers XML de prévisions météorologiques par ville

Dear users of Citypage XML,
The following change in the layout of the forecasts occurred Tuesday,
April 28 2015 on our website: there is now a "Night" part-period for the
first five days of the forecast. You can see an example in the forecast
text here:
http://weather.gc.ca/city/pages/nb-2_metric_e.html
This change has affected the content of the Citypage XML files at the
following location on the Datamart:
http://dd.weather.gc.ca/citypage_weather/xml/
Previously, the element group <forecastgroup> contained 8 <forecast>.
Following this change, it now contains 12 or 13 elements <forecast>
depending of the time of day when the files were created. This change
does not affect the XML Schema files. Only the number of <forecast> has
changed.
We apologize for any inconvenience this unannounced change may have
caused to users. We will endeavour to ensure in future that users are
informed of such changes via this mailing list.

Un changement dans la présentation des prévisions a eu lieu mardi le 28
avril 2015 sur notre site web: il y a maintenant une section "Nuit" pour
les cinq premiers jours de prévision. Vous pouvez voir un exemple dans
le texte de prévision ici:

Ce changement a affecté le contenu des fichiers XML de prévisions
météorologiques par ville disponibles à cet emplacement sur le Datamart:
http://dd.meteo.gc.ca/citypage_weather/xml/
Auparavant, le groupe <forecastgroup> contenait 8 éléments <forecast>.
Après ce changement, il contient 12 ou 13 éléments <forecast> selon le
moment de la journée où le fichier à été créé. Ce changement n'affecte
pas le Schéma des fichiers XML. Seul le nombre d'éléments <forecast> a
changé.
Nous nous excusons des problèmes que ce changement non annoncé a pu
causer aux usagers. Nous tâcherons à l'avenir d'informer les usagers des
changements de ce type sur cette liste de diffusion.

prévision déterministe (SHRPD),
Au mois de novembre 2014, une mise à jour majeure des systèmes de
prévisions du SMC

été effectuée par le Centre météorologique canadien, ce qui a permis
l'ajout d'un domaine continental pour le SHRPD sur le Datamart.

Dear GRIB High Resolution Deterministic Prediction System (HRDPS) users,
In November 2014, a major updated to SMC forecasting systems
<http://lists.ec.gc.ca/pipermail/dd_info/2014-November/000114.html> has
been implemented by the Canadian Meteorological Centre permitting the
addition of a new continental domain for the HRDPS on the Datamart.

Depuis décembre 2014, les trajectoires d'ouragans émises par le Centre
canadien de prévision des ouragans
<http://www.ec.gc.ca/ouragans-hurricanes/default.asp?lang=Fr> sont
publiées sur le Datamart. Ces données sont rendues disponiblesen mode
expérimental afin d’offrir aux usagers une opportunité d’ingérer et de
tester les données en temps réel. Le service sera fourni au meilleur de
nos capacités, mais notez qu’il existe une possibilité non négligeable
d’interruptions occasionnelles, non-annoncées et non-remédiées, de ce
service expérimental de données, et ce jusqu’à nouvelle ordre.

Since December 2014, the hurricane trajectories emitted by the Canadian
Hurricane Centre
<http://www.ec.gc.ca/ouragans-hurricanes/default.asp?lang=En&n=DA74FE64-1>are
published on the Datamart in experimental mode. This provides the user
community with an opportunity to ingest and test the data in real time.
The service will be provided on a best effort basis. Please note that
until further notice there is a non-negligible possibility of occasional
unannounced and un-remedied interruptions of this experimental service.
