(English follows) Chers usagers du Datamart du SMC, Un nouveau produit de potentiel orageux en format GeoJSON est maintenant disponible sur DD-Alpha, le site web d'essai de données du Datamart du SMC</ec-msc/public-doc/-/blob/master/docs/msc-datamart/readme_fr.md> à cette adresse : https://dd.alpha.meteo.gc.ca/thunderstorm-outlooks/ Ce produit temporel et polygonal géoréférencé est généré par les centres de prévision des intempéries du Service météorologique du Canada (SMC) à travers le Canada. Il décrit les zones géographiques prévues pour les orages au pays. Ces potentiels orageux sont émis par pendant la saison convective (mai à octobre) chaque année. Bien qu’opérationnels, le nom des fichiers va être mis à jour cet automne (octobre 2025, date exacte à venir), c’est pourquoi ces données sont actuellement disponibles en tant que données « expérimentales » sur DD-Alpha. Sandrine ================== Dear MSC Datamart users, A new Thunderstorm Outlooks product in GeoJSON format is now available on DD-Alpha, the MSC Datamart data testing website at this address : https://dd.alpha.weather.gc.ca/thunderstorm-outlooks/ This georeferenced temporal and polygonal product is generated by the Meteorological Service of Canada (MSC) Storm Prediction Centres across Canada. It describes the geographical areas forecast for thunderstorms in the country. These thunderstorm outlooks are issued during the convective season (May to October) each year. Although operational, the file names will be updated this autumn (October 2025, exact date to be announced), which is why this data is currently available as "experimental" data on DD-Alpha.
