Chers usagers du Datamart du SMC,
A compter de janvier 2017 (date précise à venir), les données XML de prévisions
météorologiques par ville disponibles à l'adresse ci-dessous, seront mise à jour pour
incorporer les données horaires jusqu'à 24 heures de prévision:
http://dd.meteo.gc.ca/citypage_weather/xml/
Un autre groupe <hourlyForecastGroup> sera ainsi ajouté aux données XML, tel que le
montre l'exemple ci-joint pour la prévision officielle de Montréal, valide le 17
novembre 2016.
Notez que les prévisions 24 heures sont déjà disponibles sur le site web
d'Environnement et changement climatique Canada depuis plusieurs années mais
n'étaient pas encore offertes en format XML sur le serveur de données ouvertes du SMC.
Cette mise en service sera donc un ajout très apprécié de nos usagers, sachant que les
données Citypage XML constituent le produit le plus populaire du Datamart du SMC.
La documentation, ainsi que les schémas XML des données seront également mises à jour en
conséquence et disponibles, respectivement, à ces adresses:

Un autre avis sera envoyé dès que la date officielle de mise en œuvre de ces nouvelles

Dear MSC Datamart users,
Starting from January 2017 (date to follow), the citypage weather XML files, produced for
a selected number of cities in the Canadian provinces and territories, will be updated to
add the hourly 24-hour forecasts:
http://dd.meteo.gc.ca/citypage_weather/xml/
Another group <hourlyForecastGroup> will be added to the XML data, as shown in the
attached example for Montreal official forecasts, valid on November 17th 2016.
Note that 24h forecasts have been available on the Environment and Climate Change Canada
web site for several years but have not been offered in XML format on the MSC open data
server. This implementation will be of high interest to users, given that the XML Citypage
product is the most popular dataset on the MSC Datamart.
The documentation as well as the XML schemas will be consequently updated and available at
