(English follows) Chers usagers des données ouvertes du SMC, Tel qu'annoncé plus tôt ce mois-ci<https://comm.collab.science.gc.ca/mailman3/hyperkitty/list/dd_info@comm.collab.science.gc.ca/thread/ILRNGKO4FKVQ2F3TXBX6FMFPONFKMC26/>, lors du prochain cycle d'innovation, en mai/juin 2024, le Système régional de prévision déterministe (SRPD)<https://eccc-msc.github.io/open-data/msc-data/nwp_rdps/readme_rdps_fr/> sera remplacé par une composante du Système global de prévision déterministe (SGPD)<https://eccc-msc.github.io/open-data/msc-data/nwp_gdps/readme_gdps_fr/> sur un nouveau domaine nord-américain. Cette composante sera disponible sur une grille lat-lon tournée de résolution 10km légèrement décalée vers l'est par rapport à la grille actuelle. Puisque l'Analyse régionale déterministe de précipitation<https://eccc-msc.github.io/open-data/msc-data/nwp_rdpa/readme_rdpa_fr/> (ARDP) dépend<https://collaboration.cmc.ec.gc.ca/cmc/cmos/public_doc/msc-data/nwep-dependency-diagrams/system_RDPA_fr.svg> directement du SRPD, cette mise à jour entrainera le remplacement de la grille actuelle lat-lon tournée de l'ARPD par cette nouvelle grille légèrement décalée vers l'est, couvrant les Caraïbes, le Mexique au complet ainsi qu'une partie de l'Europe du Nord : [A green and red globe with lines and a black line Description automatically generated with medium confidence] Un échantillon de ces nouvelles données (fichiers finaux seulement) est disponible à cette adresse : https://collaboration.cmc.ec.gc.ca/cmc/cmos/sample_rdpa/ Veuillez noter qu'aucun autre changement ne sera apporté à ces données, seule la grille va changer. Afin de permettre à nos usagers d'ajuster progressivement leurs applications, les données de l'ARDP sur ce nouveau domaine seront disponibles à compter de mars 2024 (date précise à venir) sur DD-Alpha<https://dd.alpha.meteo.gc.ca/>, le serveur web d'essai du Datamart du SMC, en parallèle avec les données actuelles sur le Datamart du SMC<https://dd.meteo.gc.ca/model_rdpa/10km/>, pendant une période de 3 mois environ, soit jusqu'en mai/juin 2024. Sandrine ============================== Dear MSC open data users, As announced earlier this month<https://comm.collab.science.gc.ca/mailman3/hyperkitty/list/dd_info@comm.collab.science.gc.ca/thread/ILRNGKO4FKVQ2F3TXBX6FMFPONFKMC26/>, at the next innovation cycle, in May/June 2024, the Regional Deterministic Prediction System (RDPS)<https://eccc-msc.github.io/open-data/msc-data/nwp_rdps/readme_rdps_en/> will be replaced by a component of the Global Deterministic Prediction System (GDPS)<https://eccc-msc.github.io/open-data/msc-data/nwp_gdps/readme_gdps_en/> over a new North American domain. This component will be available on a rotated lat-lon grid of 10km resolution, slightly shifted to the east in relation to the current grid. Since the Regional Deterministic Precipitation Analysis (RDPA)<https://eccc-msc.github.io/open-data/msc-data/nwp_rdpa/readme_rdpa_en/> is directly dependent<https://collaboration.cmc.ec.gc.ca/cmc/cmos/public_doc/msc-data/nwep-dependency-diagrams/system_RDPA_en.svg> on the RDPS, this update will involve replacing the current RDPA lat-lon rotated grid with this new grid, slightly shifted to the east, covering the Caribbean, the whole of Mexico and part of Northern Europe: [A globe with lines and lines Description automatically generated with medium confidence] A sample of the new data is available here (final files only): https://collaboration.cmc.ec.gc.ca/cmc/cmos/sample_rdpa/ Please note that no other changes will be made to this data, only the grid will change. To enable our users to gradually adjust their applications, RDPA data on this new domain will be available, starting from March 2024 (exact date to come) on DD-Alpha, the MSC Datamart test web server. Data will be available in parallel with current data on the MSC Datamart, for a period of around 3 months, until May/June 2024. Further details will be communicated in the next weeks.
