[dd_info] [NOUVEAU] : Données UMOS en format GeoJSON // [NEW] : GeoJSON UMOS data

(English follows) Chers usagers du Datamart du SMC, Il me fait plaisir de vous annoncer l’ajout de données statistiquement post-traitées pour le Système régional de prévision déterministe (SRPD) et le Système global de prévision déterministe (SGPD) sur le Datamart du SMC. Ces données sont générées par le système UMOS (Updatable Model Output Statistics) , un progiciel développé par ECCC, et bénéficient d’une réduction des biais systématiques et de la variance de l’erreur des prévisions brutes, offrant ainsi des prévisions de meilleure qualité. Les variables du temps et de l'environnement post-traitées statistiquement pour le SRPD incluent les températures de l'air et du point de rosée à 1.5 mètres au-dessus de la surface de la Terre ainsi que la vitesse et la direction du vent à 10 mètres au-dessus de la surface de la Terre ou au niveau de l'anémomètre dans le cas d'une bouée. Seule la température de l'air à 1.5 mètres au-dessus de la surface de la Terre est post-traitée statistiquement pour le SGPD. Sandrine ================================ Dear MSC Datamart users, I am pleased to announce the addition of statistically post-processed data for the Regional Deterministic Prediction System (RDPS) and the Global Deterministic Prediction System (GDPS) to the MSC Datamart. These data are generated by the UMOS (Updatable Model Output Statistics) system, a software package developed by ECCC, and benefit from a reduction in systematic bias and raw forecast error variance, thus providing better quality forecasts. The weather and environmental variables statistically post-processed for the RDPS include air and dew point temperatures at 1.5 meters above the Earth's surface, and wind speed and direction at 10 meters above the Earth's surface or at the anemometer level in the case of a buoy. Only the air temperature at 1.5 meters above the Earth's surface is statistically post-processed for the GDPS.
