(English follows)
https://dd.meteo.gc.ca/model_rdwps/[erie,huron-michigan,ontario,superior]...
https://eccc-msc.github.io/open-data/msc-data/nwp_rewps/readme_rewps-data...
Cordialement.
Sandrine

================================
Dear MSC Datamart Users,
I would like to remind you that a major update to the Regional Deterministic Wave
Prediction System (RDWPS) data will be implemented in late November 2021 . A more specific
date will be communicated in the coming weeks.
These changes are detailed below:
· Gulf of Saint Lawrence domain will be replaced by a new Northwest Atlantic
(atlantic-nw) domain covering a larger area (see attached image). These data will be
available at the address:
https://dd.weather.gc.ca/model_rdwps/atlantic-nw/5km/[00,06,12,18]
· Great Lakes files will be moved to new directories:
https://dd.weather.gc.ca/model_rdwps/[erie,huron-michigan,ontario,superio...
· GRIB parameters for the Great Lakes data will be modified to conform to those
available in the Regional Ensemble Wave Prediction System (REWPS), see list here:
https://eccc-msc.github.io/open-data/msc-data/nwp_rewps/readme_rewps-data...
o Note that 10 meter winds and ice concentration will remain available
o The new Northwest Atlantic domain data will also be adjusted accordingly
* Files nomenclature will be updated to conform to the new MSC Datamart files
standardization
A sample of this data is already available on DD-Alpha, the MSC testing data repository,
at the address below, to help our users adapt and test their applications:
https://dd.alpha.weather.gc.ca/model_rdwps
Please, note that this sample has been updated since the 1st announcement sent on June
18th (*) to conform to the latest MSC Datamart file name standardization.
Please note that the documentation (**) will be updated accordingly when these changes are
implemented.
We apologize for any inconvenience this wave of changes may cause to your applications. I
remain available to answer your questions and accompany you during this transition
period.
Have a nice week-end.
Sandrine
