This is the final reminder concerning the GRIB1 data format for GEM regional and global models. -- Ceci est le dernier rappel concernant l'arrêt des données GRIB1 pour les modèles GEM régional et global. ============== (Le français suit) Dear GRIB data users, GRIB1 data production for the regional and global GEM models will be discontinued next week, on Tuesday April 26th 2011. We are nearing the end of the 6 month transition period from GRIB1 to GRIB2. We invite GRIB users to carry out their migration toward the GRIB2 format now. The tools to process this format are available as they are for GRIB1. You will find more information about the GRIB 2 format in the Environment Canada documentation on GRIB data at the following address: http://www.meteo.gc.ca/grib/index_e.html Should you have any questions about this migration, please contact me.
