(English follows) Chers usagers du Datamart du SMC, Suite au dernier cycle d’innovation<https://comm.collab.science.gc.ca/mailman3/hyperkitty/list/dd_info@comm.collab.science.gc.ca/message/4UQEIXVE4BGVYZ6IXLKZ4YSQXR43VWMG/> de l’an passé, j’ai le plaisir de vous annoncer que les données de la grille lat-lon tournée du Système régional de prévision déterministe (SRPD) sur un domaine élargi couvrant les Caraïbes et le Mexique au complet ainsi qu’une partie de l’Europe du Nord, sont maintenant disponibles sur le Datamart du SMC, à cette adresse : https://dd.meteo.gc.ca/today/model_rdps L’image en attaché montre une superposition des deux domaines polaire stéréographique (PS) et lat-lon tourné (RLatLon) ce qui permet d’apprécier l’amélioration de service. Veuillez noter que les fichiers contenus dans ce nouveau répertoire sont conformes à nos nouvelles normes de standardisation, destinées à uniformiser la nomenclature à travers notre offre de service et faciliter le décodage automatisé. Dans ces normes, les acronymes utilisés pour représenter les variables ont été remplacés par des noms plus explicites selon le style upper camel case<https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camel_case>. Les éléments du temps sur grille (WEonG) expérimentaux déjà disponibles sur DD-Alpha, le site web d’essai du Datamart du SMC, sur cette nouvelle grille lat-lon tournée, ont aussi été standardisés selon cette nouvelle nomenclature et sont disponibles à cette adresse : https://dd.alpha.meteo.gc.ca/model_rdps Les données sur la grille polaire stéréographique seront retirées de l’offre de service en 2026 (date exacte à venir), nous invitons donc nos usagers à migrer vers ces nouvelles données, plus proches de la grille native du système, aussitôt que possible. Je vous souhaite un très bon week-end. 😊 Sandrine ======================= Dear MSC Datamart users, Following last year's latest innovation cycle<https://comm.collab.science.gc.ca/mailman3/hyperkitty/list/dd_info@comm.collab.science.gc.ca/message/4UQEIXVE4BGVYZ6IXLKZ4YSQXR43VWMG/>, I am pleased to announce that the rotated lat-lon grid data from the Regional Deterministic Prediction System (RDPS) covering an expanded area including the entire Caribbean and Mexico, as well as part of Northern Europe, is now available on the MSC Datamart at the following address: https://dd.weather.gc.ca/model_rdps The attached image shows a superimposition of the two domains, polar stereographic (PS) and rotated lat-lon (RLatLon), which allows you to appreciate the improvement in service. Please note that the files contained in this new directory comply with our new standardization norms, which are designed to standardize nomenclature across our service offering and facilitate automated decoding.
