(English follows) Chers usagers du Datamart du SMC, Dans le cadre du projet de renouvellement des radars du SMC (*), un nouveau radar Doppler de bande S, CASFT, équipé de la technologie de double polarisation, a été installé dans la région de l'Ontario pour remplacer l'ancien radar Franktown de bande C (XFT). Ce radar est le 20ème radar de bande S à être déployé depuis le depuis du projet, et le 2ème de cette année 2021. Pour rappel, veuillez noter que l'une des améliorations apportées par ces nouveaux radars est que les produits/données sont disponibles aux 6 minutes au lieu de 10 minutes. La portée des Doppler passe également de 113 km à 240 km.
