(English follows) Chers usagers des données ouvertes du SMC, En septembre 2024<https://comm.collab.science.gc.ca/mailman3/hyperkitty/list/dd_info@comm.collab.science.gc.ca/thread/Y2ZHPENXK56H3TW43D3SITOACJZVWXGA/>, nous vous avions informé que le produit XML « citypage_weather <https://eccc-msc.github.io/open-data/msc-data/citypage-weather/readme_citypageweather_fr/> », contenant les prévisions officielles par ville, devenait difficile à maintenir avec l’augmentation du nombre de régions de prévision rendant impossible une parfaite correspondance avec notre site web<https://meteo.gc.ca/canada_f.html> et l’application MétéoCan<https://www.canada.ca/fr/environnement-changement-climatique/services/conditions-meteorologiques-ressources-outils-generaux/meteocan.html>. Avec l’évolution des services de prévision et les mises à jour fréquentes des polygones de région de prévision, il devient ainsi de plus en plus complexe d'aligner le produit «citypage_weather » sur les nouveaux points de localisation. Par conséquent, certaines alertes peuvent ne pas apparaitre dans les données XML du produit « citypage_weather » si un point de localisation a été déplacé vers une autre zone d'alerte. Par exemple, ce problème a récemment affecté la ville de Silo, au Manitoba. Par souci de transparence, nous tenons donc à vous informer que nous ne pouvons plus garantir l'exactitude totale du produit « citypage_weather », car il existe un risque de ne pas recevoir certaines alertes critiques pour certains endroits. Tel que mentionné antérieurement, nous planifions de retirer ces données XML de l’offre de données ouvertes afin de déployer un produit plus robuste et de meilleure qualité. En attendant, nous vous suggérons d’utiliser les autres sources d’informations disponibles via nos plateformes de données ouvertes, soit : * Les données CAP_XML<https://eccc-msc.github.io/open-data/msc-data/alerts/readme_alerts_fr/> : alertes météorologiques * Les données SWOB-XML<https://eccc-msc.github.io/open-data/msc-data/obs_station/readme_obs_insitu_fr/> : conditions météorologiques observées * Les données climatiques<https://eccc-msc.github.io/open-data/msc-data/climate_obs/readme_climateobs_fr/> : données de la veille et normales * Les données d’extrêmes climatiques à long terme<https://eccc-msc.github.io/open-data/msc-data/climate_ltce/readme_climateltce_fr/> (LTCE) : données extrêmes Concernant les données de prévisions météorologiques, nous vous invitons à explorer les éléments du temps sur grille<https://collaboration.cmc.ec.gc.ca/cmc/cmoi/product_guide/docs/tech_notes/technote_weong-hrdps_f.pdf> (WEonG), qui offrent une meilleure couverture spatiale et un éventail plus large d'éléments météorologiques. Bien que ces données ne remplacent pas officiellement les informations prévisionnelles disponibles sur notre site web, elles peuvent constituer une alternative. La transition vers ce nouveau service est en marche. These challenges have arisen due to the growing number of forecast regions, making it difficult to ensure consistency with our website<https://weather.gc.ca/canada_e.html> and the WeatherCan<https://www.canada.ca/en/environment-climate-change/services/weather-general-tools-resources/weathercan.html> mobile app. As forecasting services evolve and updates to forecast region polygons occur more frequently, it has become increasingly complex to align the “citypage_weather” product with new location points. As a result, some alerts may no longer appear in the XML “citypage_weather” product if a location point has moved to a different alert zone. For example, this issue has recently affected the city of Silo, Manitoba. We can no longer guarantee the complete accuracy of “citypage_weather” since there is a risk of missing critical alerts for certain locations. As previously communicated, we plan to retire the “citypage_weather” XML product from the open data offering to launch a more robust and reliable solution. In the meantime, we encourage you to utilize the other data sources available through our open data platforms, including: * CAP_XML<https://eccc-msc.github.io/open-data/msc-data/alerts/readme_alerts_en/> data: weather alert information * SWOB-XML<https://eccc-msc.github.io/open-data/msc-data/obs_station/readme_obs_insitu_en/> data: observed weather conditions * climate data<https://eccc-msc.github.io/open-data/msc-data/climate_obs/readme_climateobs_en/> : daily and normal climate information * long-term climate extremes<https://eccc-msc.github.io/open-data/msc-data/climate_ltce/readme_climateltce_en/> (LTCE) data: climate extremes For a source of weather forecast data, we encourage you to explore the weather elements on the grid<https://collaboration.cmc.ec.gc.ca/cmc/cmoi/product_guide/docs/tech_notes/technote_weong-hrdps_e.pdf> (WEonG) service, which offers improved spatial coverage and a wider range of weather elements. While these data are not officially replacing the forecast information on our website, they can serve as an alternative. The transition to this new service is currently underway.
