/(English follows)/ Chers usagers du Datamart du SMC, Une mise à jour importante des données de prévisions de vagues sur le Datamart du SMC aura lieu au début de l'année 2018. Un nouveau *système global de prévision des vagues (SGPDV) sera* *mis en oeuvre opérationnellement* (pour les détails, voir le GENOT: http://dd.weather.gc.ca/doc/genots/2017/10/31/NOCN03_CWAO_311455___01870) et une *nouvelle version du système régional de prévision des vagues (SRPDV)* pour les Grands Lacs sera également publiée. Ceci entrainera une amélioration de la qualité des prévisions mais aussi l'*arrêt des systèmes de vagues océaniques régionaux actuels*, à l'exception du domaine du Golfe du Saint-Laurent. Les domaines Arctique, Atlantique nord et Pacifique nord, actuellement disponibles aux adresses ci-dessous, seront donc retirés: * http://dd.meteo.gc.ca/model_wave/ocean/arctic/ * http://dd.meteo.gc.ca/model_wave/ocean/atlantic_north/ * http://dd.meteo.gc.ca/model_wave/ocean/pacific_north/ Par conséquent, veuillez noter les changements suivants directement reliés à cette mise à jour: 1) Un *nouveau domaine global *sera disponible à une résolution de 0.25deg, à l'adresse: http://dd.meteo.gc.ca/model_wave/ocean/global/grib2/ - Ce domaine sera disponible pour les passes de 00Z et 12Z et l'échéance des prévisions sera de 120h. Les sorties seront disponibles aux heures de 0 à 48 heures puis aux 3 heures. - Les fichiers auront pour nomenclature: CMC_*gdwps*_domain_Variable_LevelType_level_latlondddxddd_YYYYMMDDHH_Phhh.grib2 Voir les définitions des paramètres ici: http://meteo.gc.ca/grib/grib2_RDWPS_f.html 2) Quatre *nouveaux domaines régionaux seront disponibles* à une résolution de 1 km (0.009 x 0.0124 degrés), aux adresses suivantes: * http://dd.meteo.gc.ca/model_wave/great_lakes/erie/grib2/ * http://dd.meteo.gc.ca/model_wave/great_lakes/huron-michigan/grib2/ * http://dd.meteo.gc.ca/model_wave/great_lakes/ontario/grib2/ * http://dd.meteo.gc.ca/model_wave/great_lakes/superior/grib2/ - Les prévisions sur ces domaines seront disponibles aux heures pour les passes de 00Z, 06Z, 12Z et 18Z. L'échéance sera de 48h pour tous les domaines des Grands Lacs. - Veuillez noter que le Lac Michigan sera ajouté au domaine régional couvrant le Lac Huron, le nom du répertoire associé sera donc changé en conséquence. 3) *Au niveau des variables*, il faut souligner les points suivants: - Les paramètres SWELL (hauteur significative de la houle), SWDIR (direction de la houle) et SWPER (période moyenne de la houle), ne seront plus des paramètres de houle totale, mais représenteront plutôt la première houle, c'est à dire la houle ayant le plus d'énergie. - La variable PKPER verra son LevelType_level passer de TGL_0 à SFC_0. - Un nouveau paramètre sera ajouté, soit la période moyenne centrée des vagues (MZWPER) - La variable PRMSL ne sera plus disponible parmi les données puisqu'elle n'est pas utilisée par le modèle de vague. Notez que celle-ci est disponible via le SGPD sous : http://dd.weatheroffice.gc.ca/model_gem_global/25km/grib2/lat_lon/ 4) Veuillez noter que ces changements n'ont *pas d'impact sur les données du domaine du Golfe du Saint-Laurent* qui continueront de provenir du SRPDV actuel. A new*Global Deterministic Wave Prediction System (GDWPS) will be operationally implemented *(see details in the GENOT: http://dd.weather.gc.ca/doc/genots/2017/10/31/NOCN03_CWAO_311455___01870) as well as a new version of the *Regional Deterministic Wave Prediction System (RDWPS)* for the Great Lakes. This update will lead to improved forecasts but also to the *decommissioning of the current _oceanic_ regional wave systems, *with**the exception of the Gulf of St Lawrence domain.
