J’aimerais vous rappeler que la mise à jour des produits CAP-XML annoncée en avril

sera mise en œuvre demain, le 26 novembre 2025. Cette mise à jour comprend une
amélioration de la présentation des alertes grâce à une structure de niveau de risque par
code de couleur.

Vous y trouverez aussi des informations sur un nouveau type d'alerte d'inondation
côtière et sur l'introduction de polygones de formes libres pour représenter les zones
réellement menacées.
Cette mise à jour aura un impact sur les données
citypage_weather<https://eccc-msc.github.io/open-data/msc-data/citypage-weather/readme_citypageweather_en/>,
puisque l'attribut « priority » sera supprimé et un nouvel attribut « alertColourLevel
» sera ajouté pour correspondre au niveau d'alerte.

Finalement, les bulletins d’avertissements (fichiers W), seront aussi modifiés selon :
* Toute mention du nom de l'alerte inclura désormais une composante couleur et la
formulation sera légèrement ajustée :
* Exemple : AVERTISSEMENT DE CHALEUR -> AVERTISSEMENT JAUNE - CHALEUR
* Deux nouvelles lignes sont ajoutées dans un message d'alerte actif (non
terminé), soit le niveau d’impact et la fiabilité des prévisions
* Exemple :
* NIVEAU D'IMPACT : MODÉRÉ
* FIABILITÉ DES PRÉVISIONS : ÉLEVÉE

I would like to remind you that the CAP-XML update announced last

will be implemented tomorrow, on November 26, 2025. This update includes an improvement of
the presentation of alerts
through a color-coded tiered structure.

You will also find information on a new coastal flooding alert type and the introduction
of free-form polygons to represent true threat area.
This update will impact
citypage_weather<https://eccc-msc.github.io/open-data/msc-data/citypage-weather/readme_citypageweather_en/>
data as the “priority” attribute will be removed and a new alert attribute,
“alertColourLevel”, will be added to match the alert level.

* Two new lines are added to an active (not ended) alert message, namely the impact
level and the forecast confidence.

* FORECAST CONFIDENCE: HIGH
