(English follows) Chers usagers du Datamart du SMC, Pour votre information, le jeudi 2 décembre 2021, SMC apportera des changements au programme de prévisions météorologiques à l'aéronautique. Ces changements visent la conformité aux standards internationaux de l'OACI et de l'OMM. Une conséquence de cette mise à jour concerne les bulletins FTCN contenant les prévisions d'aérodromes TAF (*) disponibles sur le Datamart du SMC à cette adresse : https://dd.meteo.gc.ca/bulletins/alphanumeric/YYYYMMDD/FT/CWAO <https://dd.meteo.gc.ca/bulletins/alphanumeric> Alors que la pratique actuelle est de transmettre qu'une seule prévision d'aérodrome (c.à.d. pour 1 seul site) par bulletin, à partir du 2 décembre, un bulletin pourra contenir les prévisions pour plusieurs aérodromes. Le système de bulletins, et les prévisions d'aérodrome qu'ils contiennent sont basés sur les régions d'information de vol (FIR). En d'autres mots, un bulletin est un véhicule pour transmettre les TAF des aérodromes dans une FIR donnée. Seules les prévisions pour les aérodromes militaires se retrouvent sous un bulletin unique sans égard à leur emplacement. En conséquence, le nom des fichiers ne contiendra plus le site de l'aérodrome: FTCN##_CWAO_DDHHMM_[AA(x),CC(x),RR(x)]_SITE_IDNO deviendra FTCN##_CWAO_DDHHMM_[AA(x),CC(x),RR(x)]__IDNO Exemple : FTCN36_CWAO_151800_CYOW_63083 deviendra FTCN36_CWAO_151800__63083 Ce bulletin FTCN36, contiendra plusieurs TAF pour les sites CYBC CYGP CYGV CYFB CYGL CYBX CYYY CYMX CYUL CYHU CYNA CYOW CYQB CYRJ CYZV CYSC CYWK Aussi, un exemple de ces nouveaux fichiers est ajouté à cette annonce en attaché. These changes aim at conforming to the international standards of ICAO and WMO. One consequence of this update concerns the FTCN bulletins containing TAF (*) aerodrome forecasts available on the MSC Datamart at this address https://dd.weather.gc.ca/bulletins/alphanumeric/YYYYMMDD/FT/CWAO<https... While the current practice is to transmit only one aerodrome forecast (i.e. for only one site) per bulletin, from December 2nd onwards, a bulletin may contain forecasts for several aerodromes. The system of bulletins, and the aerodrome forecasts they contain, are based on the Flight Information Regions (FIR). In other words, a bulletin is a vehicle for transmitting TAFs for aerodromes in a given FIR. Only forecasts for military aerodromes are contained in a single bulletin regardless of their location.
